Mohamed Serageldin
After studying Mechanical Engineering at Boston University, Mohamed switched paths, ventured to Egypt -where his family is originally from- in 2009, and focused on studying Arabic.
Mohamed is currently an instructor at a vibrant educational centre in Cairo where international and native students attend. He is also responsible for a boarding school in The Gambia that currently serves students from The Gambia, Guinea Bissau and the US. He is the co-founder of BasmalaBeads and ArabicSquare.
Having started a family in The Gambia, Mohamed now lives between Cairo and Banjul with his wife and three children. From there, he led “The Bissau Project” that serves and supports the Balanta people of Guinea Bissau.
